Early Childhood Social Educator

The position is for a permanent post as a early childhood social educator at Ylästön day care centre in Vantaa. You will participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning, implementing and evaluating pedagogical activities, and you will be responsible for child welfare collaboration with families. The unit employs 17 early childhood professionals and is part of a three-daycare unit run with a co-management model. The role emphasizes inclusive leadership, a collaborative atmosphere, and development of services and new practices to promote child and family well-being and community. The work includes supporting children’s well-being, guiding children, families and guardians, and interacting with caregivers to support the child in everyday situations. You will work in the 2–4-year-old group alongside an early childhood teacher and a childcarer.
