Site Manager (Earthworks and Foundation Construction)

We are seeking an experienced site manager to strengthen our earthworks and foundation unit in Uusimaa/Helsinki. In this role you will be central to project success, responsible for production on site, safety and financial management in collaboration with the site manager. You will lead site operations with a determined and coaching approach, ensuring efficient use of resources and safe execution of work phases. Your tasks include responsibility for schedule adherence, quality control and cost control. You will oversee subcontractor operations and coordinate work phases with different parties on the project. You will also organize on-site meetings and inspections and maintain close cooperation with client representatives and authorities. You will act as a supervisor within the site organization and ensure the team functions smoothly. If necessary you will participate in contract negotiations and define contract content at the bidding stage. Requirements: - Vocational qualification in the construction sector (e.g. technical school, AMK) - At least 5 years of experience in supervision/administrative roles in infra construction - Strong knowledge of production control, cost management and contract matters - Good Finnish language skills; English is considered an advantage - IT skills and ability to use existing systems - Experience with specialized foundation work (e.g. piling, stabilization, injections) We value a firm and collaborative leadership style, the ability to make decisions under pressure, good communication and negotiation skills, analytical thinking and a customer-oriented approach, solution-focused attitude and adaptability to changing situations.
