Healthcare Assistant

Pohjanmaan hyvinvointialue seeks two healthcare assistants. Initial placement in Resource Unit 9. The position is varied and offers the possibility to work in different units in Närpiö. Tasks may include home care, service housing, or work in a general medical ward. Requires B-driver’s license and access to own car. We are looking for a person who enjoys a role where tasks vary and who meets different clients and work teams. The resource unit provides good opportunities to develop broad expertise and gain experience in various areas of nursing. Eligibility: a Lähihoitaja degree or a degree under the Act on Health-care Professionals (564/1994) or the Government Decree on Social-care Professionals (153/2016). Proficiency in both national languages of the country in speaking and writing. Those who have completed Lähihoitaja degree are required to be registered in both professional registers of the Authority for Permit and Supervision, Terhikki and Suosikki. Additionally, the selected candidate must have valid vaccination protection under §48 of the Infectious Diseases Act (1227/2016) and present a police clearance as referred in §6(2) of the Penal Code. A trial period applies.
