We are seeking a licensed nurse for a permanent position in the vascular surgery ward M12 at the Vein Center in Meilahti’s Tower Hospital. The unit is a 28-bed vascular surgery ward that treats patients preparing for procedures, interventions, and operations as well as planned and emergency cases. You will work in a supportive, collegial team that values learning and continuous development, with an emphasis on high-quality patient care. Your duties include nursing care for vascular surgery patients before and after surgery, patient guidance, comprehensive wound care, medication administration, and rehabilitation nursing. You will work in an interdisciplinary team with physiotherapists and other professionals, ensuring safe discharge and smooth follow-up. The unit has a patient-centered and collaborative culture, with learning opportunities and a strong sense of community. The role also includes participating in multi-professional rounds and contributing to the patient’s care path and unit development. The position starts on 1 Oct 2026 or by agreement, with a six-month probationary period. There is a structured shift planning system to influence your own work schedule.
