We seek a SPAR Food Manager for the Joensuu EUROSPAR store to take responsibility for the grocery store’s business, profitability, and daily operations. You will be central in developing store commercial success, customer experience, and team performance, working with the store manager and the leadership team. You will report to the regional manager. Responsibilities include leading sales, margin, profitability development, ensuring excellent availability, attractive displays, efficient stock and loss control, executing campaigns and pricing in line with the chain’s models, developing customer experience, leading and inspiring staff, and ensuring high-quality EUROSPAR concept implementation. Requirements include experience in daily retail operations management, leadership, staff development, demonstrated improvements in sales, margin, availability or shrinkage, customer-focused approach and strong commercial vision, ability to lead in a planned and results-oriented way, good analytical and reporting skills, and proficiency in Finnish and English. Preferred qualifications include relevant commercial education (e.g., bachelor-level degrees) and strong fresh-food expertise.
