Asbestos Removal Worker

Asbestos removal workers for Oulu area. Our client company seeks individuals capable of independent work in Oulu. The position is in permanent employment with Visio Pohjois-Pohjanmaa Oy, but actual work takes place at client sites/worksites. Role description: you will perform removal work of structures containing asbestos and hazardous substances, ensuring clean air in spaces in accordance with statutory requirements. Required qualifications: a valid asbestos removal work permit (statutory requirement; you must be on the authorities’ register of those authorized for asbestos removal), valid asbestos work additional training (must be no more than 3 years since last training), experience in hazardous waste renovation with safe work methods, insulation and use of equipment. Valid professional cards – work safety card and a current medical certificate (fitness for heavy respirator work) required before starting. Good Finnish language skills; ability to understand safety instructions and document. High work ethic and meticulousness; adherence to processes and responsibility for own and others’ safety.
