Senior/Lead Engineer -suunnittelija, mekaniikka - Etteplan Oyj - Remote - Global

We are looking for skilled professionals who build – not just design on paper. If you are a mechanical designer with years of experience in machinery construction and want to work in a place where you can really get hands-on with demanding projects, this might be the message to respond to. We are recruiting several senior and lead-level mechanical designers for moving machinery in Pirkanmaa. Our clients are domestic and international manufacturers whose machines do real work in real conditions. In a senior role, you have the freedom to advance technical design with your own style. In a lead role, you also coordinate the team and bear responsibility for the project's technical quality. Your daily tasks include designing steel structures, hydraulic systems, and assemblies of moving machines in demanding conditions. You will work closely with the calculation team – able to read FEA results and apply them practically. You manage complex assemblies with PDM-driven management and lifecycle perspective. Primary tools: NX or Catia. Creo and SolidWorks skills are considered an advantage. You are a good candidate if you have a DI/AMK background in machinery construction and practical experience accumulated over the years. Welded structures, hydraulics, and dynamic loads are familiar territory – not from studies, but from projects. You take ownership: the plan is only complete when it works, not when the deadline hits. You can communicate technical solutions to customers understandably – without engineer language. You can communicate in Finnish and English according to project requirements. Foundry or other special expertise or previous experience with off-highway or mobile machinery is a clear advantage – mention it in your application. Why Etteplan?
