Fullstack TypeScript Developer

You will join a team developing an application that supports analysis and reduction of water losses in large water networks. The system processes and visualizes large data volumes, showing network structure, regional division and information about water usage and operational parameters. The project is undergoing a major modernization; we are moving core logic from monolithic architecture to cloud-based AWS serverless solutions, including AWS Lambda. The new business logic is primarily written in TypeScript, with a React frontend. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working on both frontend and backend business logic, someone who wants to work full-stack and have real influence on the development of the new architecture. The current version of the app is still maintained, while the new architecture is developed gradually — a stable, long-term project with influence on solutions and technical decisions. We aim to hire someone as soon as possible. We prefer a hybrid work model from one of our offices: Wroclaw, Katowice, Gdansk or Poznań. We work mainly remotely; office visits are occasional and used for team meetings and workshops. Why join us? In this role you will be responsible for: developing a web app in TypeScript and React, developing backend business logic in AWS Lambda, contributing to design and development of serverless architecture on AWS, working with data – processing, analysis and visualization, integrating the app with other systems and interfaces, maintaining code quality and architecture, collaborating with other developers and the client project team. You are our missing link if you have commercial experience as a full-stack developer or in roles bridging frontend and backend, work with TypeScript and know its production use, know React well, have practical experience in backend TypeScript/Node.js (e.g., AWS Lambda, serverless), want to develop in AWS serverless, understand web app architecture and data work, can work in a team and take responsibility, and communicate in English. We also value experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway or other AWS services, Node.js backend experience, migration or modernization projects, knowledge of Java or maintaining backends, and data or analytics systems.
