Production Team Leader
At Oxford Instruments Andor, we are devoted to accelerating scientific advancements. We are hiring a Production Team Leader for our QC Test Team in Cameras Production. You will supervise, manage, and motivate the team, delegate tasks, oversee operations, and liaise with other departments to provide updates and lead times. The role offers room for team development and works with the Production Manager to improve processes. Requirements include HNC/HND or ONC/OND with several years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience, plus experience in training staff and strong Excel skills. Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage QC Test Team daily
- Provide guidance, instruction, training, and leadership to team members
- Delegate tasks and oversee operations on production floor
- Report on performance metrics and liaise with engineering and other teams
- Collaborate with Production Manager to improve revenue stream and internal processes
Requirements
- HNC/HND level or ONC/OND level with 3-5 years relevant experience in a high-tech production environment
- Experience in supporting and training other technical staff
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
