A la Carte Cook

We are seeking an experienced à la carte cook for the winter season in Kemi. The position is a fixed-term contract running from November 2026 to the end of March 2027, with full-time hours throughout the season. You will work in a diverse kitchen environment handling à la carte dishes as well as buffet items. Daily duties include food preparation, general kitchen operations, mise en place, plating, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and opening/closing shifts. The role emphasizes an independent work approach, and you may sometimes work alone during your shift. We are looking for someone who understands kitchen operations, can handle common kitchen equipment, and can take responsibility for their own shift. Requirements include a few years of recent à la carte cooking experience, a hygiene passport, fluent Finnish, a proactive and responsible attitude. English skills, chef training, buffet experience, and prior experience in tourism or seasonal destinations are advantageous. A car is mandatory for the role.
