We are now looking for general practitioners for the Oulaskangas emergency clinic! Learn more and apply! The task involves providing urgent care at Oulaskangas hospital from October 2025 onwards. The clinic offers urgent care services every day from Monday to Sunday, 8 am to 10 pm. Our on-call doctors handle urgent care shifts and urgent matters at the hospital’s two emergency departments outside office hours. Additionally, on weekends, our doctors handle documentation, check the condition of patients admitted within 24 hours, and discharge patients. Imaging and laboratory services are available during opening hours. The hospital is located in Oulainen, at Oulaistenkatu 5, with the patient information system ESKO. The shifts are: Mon-Sun 8-22, Mon-Fri 16-22, Sat-Sun 10-22, Sat-Sun 12-22. Shifts and hours can be arranged flexibly according to your life situation and other work. The start date is by agreement. Currently, shifts are available for general practitioners for weekday evenings and weekends. The emergency shifts are an excellent way to develop and maintain on-call skills and gain experience with different patients and ways to act in different stages of the patient’s care pathway. Our doctors are supported by responsible doctors and a designated administrative contact. We will train new on-call doctors thoroughly.
