Sheet Metal Bender

Särmääjä – ohutlevytuotanto. We are seeking a sheet metal bender for our client in the Turku area, to work in a modern thin sheet metal production environment. The role involves bending and punching sheet metal, adjusting machines and changing tools, following drawings and work instructions, measuring parts and checking quality, producing long production runs, and also performing manual bending and other production tasks as needed. Materials include steel, stainless steel and aluminum; there will be both batch production and more varied parts. Requirements include prior experience in bending; metal industry education is an advantage but not mandatory if practical skills are solid. We value experience with bending machines, ability to read drawings, careful work ethic, independence, readiness for longer production runs, and willingness to learn and master different machines and steps. The job will require later shift work; initially it is a day shift, with a move to 2-shift work later according to production needs.
