Senior Cost Manager

Requirements

• 7–8+ years of experience in cost management/quantity surveying, preferably in consultancy
• Experience managing costs across multiple projects or portfolios, preferably in lease or real estate
• Strong experience in commercial management, cost planning, and financial control including change management
• Exposure to data centre, mission-critical, or large-scale infrastructure projects (preferred)
• Chartered status
• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or Construction-related discipline
• Proficient in cost reporting, financial analysis, and stakeholder communication
• Comfortable with remote/hybrid environment and coordinating across regions

Responsibilities

• Lead cost management across a European lease portfolio across multiple sites
• Manage OPEX/CAPEX to align with client objectives
• Participate in tender/bid processes for lease works
• Drive change management across lease agreements
• Provide portfolio-level cost planning, benchmarking, and reporting
• Analyze supplier proposals for value for money and compliance
• Support final accounts including lease exit costs and dilapidations
• Oversee portfolio spend with reporting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Support disputes including loss and expense and commercial negotiations
• Collaborate with stakeholders across regions to ensure governance
• Mentor junior team members
