About the role
Senior Salesforce Technical Lead at Discord is a pivotal role in the Business Systems team. You will lead architecture, design, and development of Salesforce solutions across Ad Sales (Sales Cloud). You’ll create and execute the Ad Sales Roadmap and drive deliveries for 2026 priority items, including platform enhancements, new features, and ongoing maintenance. You will oversee a 3rd party development team, establish technical direction, and collaborate with MuleSoft on integrations. You’ll architect Salesforce and middleware integrations via REST/SOAP APIs, manage AppExchange apps and HubSpot/Asana integrations, ensure ITGC and SOX audit readiness, and coordinate remediation of technical debt. You’ll own end-to-end DevOps standards, define coding standards, manage CI/CD pipelines, and ensure SDLC/ITGC compliance. You’ll provide L2 and L3 support for the Salesforce platform, maintain design documents, and help troubleshoot critical issues. The role requires 6+ years of Salesforce development experience, proficiency with APEX, LWC, Visualforce, and declarative tools, experience with REST/SOAP integrations, DevOps, Jira, and Agile/Scrum practices. Preferred qualifications include CPQ, Platform Developer II or Application Architect certifications, and HubSpot/Asana experience. Bay Area relocation is possible for candidates. The base US salary is $192,000 to $216,000 plus equity and benefits.
