About the role

Are you eager to be at the forefront of influencing one of Finland’s largest changes in primary health care? Do you enjoy proactive collaboration with a variety of stakeholders and professionals, and thrive in environments where not every process is predefined? The role of coordinator for practitioners under the professional practice model would suit you. The position is a temporary assignment lasting until the end of 2027. Your tasks focus on practitioners working under the model and their care teams, including onboarding new doctors and their guardians, monitoring ongoing doctor-nurse pairings, maintaining continuous communication, and handling potential exits from collaborations. Typical duties include coordinating invoicing, rents, and temporary arrangements. You will creatively resolve problems connected to the new operating model and delegate where needed. Our aims are to restore residents’ trust in health centre operations, create more engaging job descriptions for professionals, and improve cost-effectiveness of the service system by focusing on continuous care at the basic service level. Your duties include acting as the primary contact for practitioners, their guardians, and the represented companies; handling operative tasks related to practitioners, such as invoicing, rent collection, and temporary staffing; contributing to governance of the new model; and developing processes related to finances and temporary arrangements. We expect relevant education, at least two years of demonstrable experience, and willingness to work in Espoon Otaniemi or visit health centres 1–2 days per week. Proactive, self-directed work style, excellent collaboration and communication skills, ability to operate in a rapidly changing environment, and knowledge of health centre operations are advantageous. We offer the chance to influence major nationwide primary health care reforms, a key role in an organization driving broad changes in resident services and professional work patterns, a multidisciplinary and committed team, competitive compensation and employment benefits, plus a 300 € annual culture, wellness or transport allowance and access to Eduhouse and Oppiport’s online training. A random drug test may be requested as part of the selection process.”,
