Early Childhood Teacher

We seek an enthusiastic early childhood teacher to join Illenpiha unit in Vantaa. You will help create a meaningful daily life for children, focusing on child-centered activity and responsive interactions. The team includes two teachers and one child care assistant; we are looking for a caring substitute who may become permanent. Our unit collaborates with Illenpuisto and operates with a development-driven culture and ProVaka approach to support children's social skills. You will read group needs, use varied instructional approaches, and collaborate with staff to foster a positive learning environment. Requirements include strong Finnish language skills, both written and spoken, and good teamwork. The role may involve transitioning into a permanent position. The unit is part of the Varhaiskasvatusyksikkö in Vantaa.
