Are you a clinical laboratory professional who wants to deepen your expertise in immunohematology? HUS Diagnostics Center is Finland’s leading provider of clinical laboratory and imaging services. We employ about 3400 laboratory and imaging professionals across more than 150 locations. We are seeking a bioanalyst/laboratory nurse for Meilahti Blood Center for a fixed-term parental leave position from 16 November 2026 to 17 July 2027. Your duties include blood grouping and antibody determination, compatibility testing, advanced analytics such as antibody identification, maintenance of blood inventories, and distribution of blood products to care units, in close collaboration with customers. The Blood Center also serves as a support laboratory for other HUS LAB centers. You will work in a multidisciplinary team and participate in process development. The role also includes blood sample collection in Meilahti ward areas. Work is performed in three shifts. The fixed-term post requires good stress tolerance, customer focus, flexibility, organizational skills, and strong interpersonal and teamwork abilities, as well as experience in blood bank work and sampling.
