We’re looking for a Mid level PHP Engineer to join our growing UK Loans team, based in or around London. Our engineering organisation is home to over 200 talented engineers across backend, frontend, mobile, and platform disciplines. You’ll have the opportunity to work on everything from building and integrating new APIs to enhance the customer journey, to optimising our lending platforms, and engaging in deep architectural discussions. There’s plenty to tackle. Essential: 3+ years experience with PHP; PHP 8.0+; High degree of ownership and autonomy; Symfony; Domain Driven Design, Message-Driven Systems and Event Sourcing would be a plus; Strong automatic testing skills. Desirable: Experience working on financial systems; collaborative team spirit. Tech Stack: PHP 8, Symfony 7, AWS, PostgreSQL, RabbitMQ, Docker, Kubernetes; CI/CD: GitHub Actions and ArgoCD; Testing: Behat, PHPUnit.
