Healthcare Assistant

Hello, we are looking for a healthcare assistant to join our 2-shift group home in Martinpuisto, Vantaa. The position is for ad-hoc shifts with evening work and occasional night shifts, starting as early as August. As a Lähihoitaja you will be responsible for residents' overall well‑being and safety in collaboration with a multi-professional team. Martinpuisto has 9 resident places and serves young people with developmental disabilities, so prior experience in developmental disability work and autism is required. We value a proactive and flexible attitude and a friendly demeanor that remains calm under pressure. The required qualifications include a healthcare assistant qualification (preferably with a specialization in disability work), current medication administration training and hygiene passport, and completion of Mapa and/or Avekki training. Clear health investigations and background checks under infectious disease laws will be performed on selected applicants, with fluent Finnish language skills (spoken and written) at least at B1.1 level. Pay follows the Private Social Services Sector collective agreement, with grid pay 15.03–16.26 €/h. Applications accepted until 31.8.2026.
