CNC Machinist

Seeking skilled CNC machinists for several client companies across Finland. Varied machining assignments are available in machine-shop, metalworking, subcontracting, industrial and manufacturing environments. Both experienced professionals and people eager to develop who already have practical CNC machining experience are sought. Assignments vary with client needs, and both CNC milling operators and CNC turners are wanted. You do not need to know everything in advance. Tell us which machines, controls and materials you have worked with, and we will look for a suitable assignment. This listing covers locations where genuine client assignments are currently open. Work may include: - CNC milling on vertical- or horizontal-spindle machining centres - CNC turning or turning with live tools - Producing parts according to technical drawings - Creating, editing and running programs - Setting up machines and selecting tools - Machining single pieces, small batches or production runs - Measuring and ensuring quality according to tolerance requirements - Monitoring the machining process and making necessary corrections Depending on the client’s needs and your skills, work may focus on machine operation, setups, programming or the complete process. We expect previous CNC machining experience; skills in CNC milling, CNC turning or both; ability to read technical drawings; ability to use measuring instruments; a careful and precise approach; willingness to produce high-quality, dimensionally accurate work; and readiness to work independently or as part of a production team. Finnish or English skills are required depending on the assignment. Experience with Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, Mazatrol, Okuma or other controls is an advantage. CAM programming skills, for example with Mastercam, Edgecam, GibbsCAM or other CAM software, are useful in many assignments. We offer work in several locations, opportunities to find a CNC machining role suited to your skills, and assignments focused on milling, turning, setups or programming. Pay is based on skills and the demands of the assignment. Long-term employment may be possible.
