We are now looking for a specialist in educational system services to strengthen our expertise, especially from the perspective of continuous learning. The employment is permanent and begins in September-October 2026. Your tasks: You are responsible for the functionality, utilization, and development of key educational systems, especially considering continuous learning. You work at the interface of systems, processes, and users... - Act as the main user and expert in key systems (e.g., Peppi, EduPlan, and Opin.fi) supporting continuous learning. This includes system maintenance (e.g., data content, basic information), development of system functions and practices, and participation in the implementation of integrations. - Develop customer-oriented service processes related to finding studies, registration, payment, and study management. - Actively participate in the development of Digivision solutions (e.g., Opin.fi platform) at the University of Vaasa. - Participate in educational planning from the perspective of system use (e.g., curricula, implementations, and educational offerings). - Manage and develop statistics and reporting. - Work in cooperation with system providers, IT services, study services, and other stakeholders. - Support staff and students in the smooth use of systems and processes. We expect from you: - A suitable university degree, - Experience in developing the utilization of information systems, main user tasks, or implementation, - Understanding of services related to the organization of education and the student's study path, - Ability to perceive and develop services as a whole, - Good cooperation and interaction skills, - A proactive, developing, and service-minded approach to work, and - Fluent Finnish and English language skills. Experience in developing digital educational services and information systems as well as experience in study service processes is considered an advantage. Salary: The position is placed at the university's salary system's other specialist and support staff requirement level 8-9 (2920 € – 3366 €). In addition, a salary component based on personal performance at work is paid. (Total salary at the start of employment is approximately 3095–4006 euros per month depending on your previous expertise and experience.) Application: Apply via the electronic application form.
