Daycare Center Director / Operations Director

We are seeking a Daycare Center Director / Operations Director for Sokojan Daycare and Village House Association in Kokkolа. The role combines leadership of day-to-day daycare operations with strategic development and coordination of the association's activities. The director acts as the superior for the daycare staff, oversees the budget, work-time planning, and communications between the board, staff, and guardians. Responsibilities include leading pedagogical activities, ensuring compliance with national and local guidance, and developing quality, participatory, and continuous improvement-oriented practices. The Operations Director will lead, develop, and coordinate the organization’s activities, take responsibility for daily operations and long-term development, manage budgeting and personnel leadership, and maintain close collaboration with customers. Qualifications follow the Early Childhood Education Act (540/2018). Working language is Swedish, but proficiency in both official languages is required.
