The Change Manager leads the strategic integration and execution of the Change Management Program across all phases of a project, including engineering, procurement and construction management services, to effectively control change. This role is pivotal in ensuring project delivery through the facilitation of cross-department engagement and leading a collaborative culture that understands the impacts of change and the necessity to control it. The Change Manager will oversee a Change Team and ensure the successful initiation, evaluation, review, and implementation of changes, adherence to contractual obligations, project objectives and client expectations, while maintaining transparency, integrity, and performance standards. Explore your tasks and responsibilities Deploy and lead the implementation of a robust change management process across the project and in all departments, including facilitation of training and management of the change control board meetings where proposed changes are reviewed and evaluated for approval by relevant stakeholders. Implement Key Performance Indicators and metrics to measure the performance of the project change program against contractual and procedural obligations, identify risks and opportunities and develop solutions through cross-discipline collaboration, as needed. Report performance and progress to Leadership and the Client in weekly and monthly status meetings and collaborate with Cost and Accounting to align reported data and analysis. Initiate discussions to address potential issues before they escalate. Supervise the change engineers driving the project’s change program through oversight of tasks and deliverables, mentorship to educate and advise, and the offering of opportunities on project to support their growth. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, planners, estimators, buyers, subcontracts administrators, project controls and construction teams to assess change impacts and prioritize actions to meet Exyte and client expectations and obligations. Interface with the Client and their representatives and build a partnership early in the project by identifying their needs and expectations, remaining honest and transparent, advising with confidence, and offering a collaborative path to finding solutions. Maintain comprehensive and accurate project records, including change logs, Power BI dashboards, and reporting modules, ensuring all changes are properly evaluated, approved, and communicated to stakeholders. Contribute to and understand the Prime Contract. Tailor and own the Change Management Project Execution Plan and project-specific forms and start-up documents for the change process Have a deep understanding of Exyte Regional and Corporate governance to ensure the compliance of project documents. Receive and manage escalations from the Change Team, resolving when capable and escalating when necessary. Build relationships internally with project leadership and externally with subcontractors and consultants by guiding with expertise, communicating expectations, and by listening to concerns and finding solutions that work for all disciplines. Promote lean management principles and champion the “Exyte Way” across all project activities. Contribute to the Regional Change Management Improvement and Innovation Plan by raising insights and opportunities derived through data analysis and observation. Collaborate, propose solutions and lead the implementation of improvements. Provide hands-on support and training during project setup, ensuring consistent application of systems, tools, and document control from initiation through completion. Champion and/or oversee ad-hoc reports, requests and initiatives and provide perspective and guidance as appropriate to influence the outcome of the activity. Show your expertise Minimum Required Bachelor’s degree in project management, engineering, construction management or related discipline. 10+ years of experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, and/or EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) industry. Preferred 3+ years of experience leading a team with experience in cross-department collaboration and proven success interfacing with senior leadership and clients. 3+ years of experience in change control. Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Excel). Exceptional communication and client-relations skills with the ability to communicate effectively and influence all levels of project personnel. Experience in high-tech sectors such as semiconductors, pharmaceuticals, or data center construction is highly desirable.
