About the role

The Role As a Teradata Database Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the stability, performance, and security of enterprise database platforms that support critical business operations. Key Responsibilities Administer, operate, and support relational and non‑relational databases (Teradata / Vantage) in mission‑critical environments. Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade database engines, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. Monitor database performance, conduct capacity planning, and optimize queries to support business applications. Provide production support under strict SLAs, including monitoring, alert analysis, troubleshooting, and incident resolution. Required Skills and Experience 4+ years of experience in database administration roles. Strong experience in Teradata / Vantage Administration. Experience with database installation, configuration, maintenance, patching, and hardening. Knowledge of performance tuning, capacity planning, backup, recovery, and high availability solutions. Experience supporting production environments under SLAs, including incident management and troubleshooting. Understanding database security, user management, roles, and access permissions. Intermediate English level (written and verbal). Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting large‑scale enterprise or mission‑critical environments. Familiarity with operational documentation, standardization, and ITIL‑based processes. Exposure to automation, monitoring tools, or cloud‑based database platforms.
