We are looking for a hardworking casual cook/kitchen assistant for Attendo kitchens in the Vantaa area. The role can be filled as a cook or kitchen assistant depending on your skills. The key is that you are prepared to work across all three Attendo kitchens in Vantaa (Attendo Jaspis, Aviapolis and Jokikartano). Each kitchen serves daily meals to about 120–190 residents. You will be part of a team and will not be alone in the kitchen. Training will be provided, and you will play a vital role as a member of our multi-professional team, covering illness and annual leaves. The contract is a as-needed (as-and-when) arrangement until the end of 2026, with potential for extension based on performance. Kitchen staff work weekdays from 6:30 to 15:00. Responsibilities include preparing meals according to menus and recipes, using production control systems, inventory management, waste tracking, marking in HACCP records and responding to deviations, maintaining kitchen cleanliness; as a kitchen assistant, tasks include assisting with food preparation under guidance, dishwashing, waste handling, HACCP marking, packaging, cleaning, and supporting bakery/desserts/salad/afternoon snacks, unloading supplies. Requirements: experience in catering or suitable education, hygienic passport, vaccination protection under Infectious Diseases Act for the duration of the employment, fluent Finnish at least level B2, and willingness to work across the three sites.
