The New Unit Spares (NUS) Parts Engineer provides technical support for Recommended Spares for New Unit projects and New Unit Commissioning Spares during the ITO and OTR phases. Recommended Spares for New Unit projects are spare parts proposed for reliable operation and maintainability of a new unit after handover, based on the unit configuration, technical documentation, and customer-specific requirements. New Unit Commissioning Spares are spare parts identified, prepared, and supplied to support commissioning and early operation of a new unit, helping ensure that critical parts are available when needed during site start-up and handover. In this role, the engineer defines part numbers for descriptions listed in the NUS contract or customer-specific scope, manages related engineering activities in the Parts organization’s ERP systems, and collaborates with CM Services, NUS Project Managers, commissioning, customer-facing teams, and customer representatives to keep NUS projects on track.
