The Manager, Tax will lead U.S. tax compliance, reporting, controversy, governance, and operational tax activities across Amer Sports’ U.S. operations. The role is broad across tax compliance obligations and will partner with the Global Tax Director, the Senior Indirect Tax Director, and the indirect tax team located in Poland (GBS). This position requires ownership, excellent communication, and cross-department collaboration across time zones in a global organization undergoing digital transformation. Key responsibilities include handling federal, state, and local tax compliance, coordinating data requests, leveraging BI reporting and automation, leading nexus reviews and state tax research, monitoring legislative developments, maintaining compliance calendars, and managing audits. Additional duties include business registrations, unclaimed property, budgeting, SOP development, and cross-functional projects including S/4HANA implementation. The role serves as the primary U.S. tax contact for Finance Controllers, GBS Krakow teams, and external advisors. A CPA designation is a plus. The pay range is $130,000 - $160,000 annually, with base pay plus a bonus program. The recruitment process includes CV screening, phone screening, interviews, and possible case studies. - Strong project management and communication skills
