About the role

Anesthesia and recovery room nursing role at Lahti Mehiläinen Hospital. We are looking for experienced anesthesia nurses for a gig role in the surgical department. Requires nursing degree. Responsibilities

  • Perform anesthesia and recovery room nursing duties
  • Provide care for surgical patients from preoperative to post-anesthetic recovery
  • Collaborate with surgeons and operating room staff
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort
  • Maintain accurate patient records and communicate with the team

Requirements

  • Nursing degree (registered nurse)
  • Ability to work independently, including night shifts in the recovery room
  • Strong clinical skills
  • Excellent customer service, proactive attitude, openness, and team spirit
  • Ability to handle pressure and changing situations
  • Experience in similar tasks is mandatory, but training will be provided
  • Keen to work in a diverse range of surgical specialities
  • Language skills in Finnish, Swedish and English
