Raahen kaupungin liikuntapalvelut oversees sports facilities and provides related services. We are seeking a multi-disciplinary sports instructor/lifeguard for a fixed-term position starting 1 September 2026 or as agreed. The role is part of the Kuntokeidas Vesipekka sports guidance and lifeguard team, focusing on teaching swimming to schoolchildren, lifeguarding, and water-based activities, with planning and organizing new courses and events. Qualifications include the SUH swimming instructor course and/or lifeguard course. Previous experience is an asset. Candidates should have good communication skills and proficiency in Finnish (spoken and written) and be organized, self-driven and collaborative. The position carries a six-month probationary period. Health certificate and a police background check for work with children are required before commencing. Work is two-shift, includes weekend work, 30 hours per week.
