Are you Aurora Queen Resort’s next team member? We are looking for an experienced and service-minded guide to join our boutique hotel team for the winter season from November 2026 to the end of March 2027. You will work with small international guest groups and provide our visitors with individualized experiences in the authentic Lapland atmosphere. We are seeking a customer service professional with several years of guiding experience in Lapland’s winter season. What is Aurora Queen Resort? A family-owned boutique hotel located in the Saariselkä area, 15 km south of the centre. The resort opened on December 1, 2021, and we are starting our 6th winter season. Our safari lodge also serves the resort area, with guides operating winter activities for small groups: snowshoeing, snowmobiling, and northern lights tours. Your duties include high-quality, friendly customer service at the resort; planning and delivering activities for small guest groups (snowshoe hikes, snowmobiling, aurora tours); customer transportation (excursions and airport transfers); advising and assisting an international clientele; cooperating with local program providers; snow clearance and anti-slip work around yards and paths; maintaining the safari lodge and equipment; assisting in daily resort operations when needed. We expect several years of guiding experience in travel and tourism; a positive and flexible attitude; good customer service and interpersonal skills; good Finnish and English language skills; willingness for physical outdoor work in varying weather; holding a B driving licence with driving experience; experience in guiding customer groups on snowmobiles; an authentic, positive, energetic and friendly attitude toward customer service; ability to work independently and as part of a small, tight team; flexible working hours (shift times typically between 08:00 and 00:00, Monday to Sunday).
