We are seeking a Chief Architect to lead and develop the overall architecture for the South Karelia wellbeing district. As chief architect you are responsible for the holistic development, governance and maintenance of the wellbeing district’s enterprise architecture (operations, processes, services, data, information systems and technology). You will operate in a strategic role, ensuring architectural coherence and alignment with organizational goals and national directions. You will lead enterprise architecture design together with business leadership, guiding stakeholders and partners, and ensuring architecture is considered in projects, changes and service development. You will also represent the wellbeing district in national networks. The role requires strong experience in enterprise architecture and ICT service management and the ability to combine technical and operational perspectives. You will master key frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, ITIL) and modelling methods and understand the public sector operating environment. You will succeed in the role if you are goal‑oriented, proactive and collaborative, able to create a shared direction in a multi‑actor environment and communicate clearly to diverse stakeholders. The position requires a suitable advanced university degree. We offer a vantage point to influence the digitalisation of the wellbeing district and to impact service expedience, cost efficiency and citizen wellbeing. A six‑month trial period applies.
