The position is a full-time temporary resource teacher at Martinlaakso School (grades 1-9) in Vantaa. The main responsibility is simultaneous and differentiated teaching for lower grades (grades 3–6). There will also be a few teaching hours for upper grades in health education and domestic science. Martinlaakson koulu is a combined school with about 1000 students and about 130 adults in the school community. The school emphasizes ProKoulu operating model with shared goals and practices to guide student behaviour, and we require applicants to commit to this. Experience in simultaneous and differentiated instruction, ability to work flexibly as part of a large multi-professional community, strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, and ability to plan and organize own work are valued. We offer modern learning spaces, up-to-date equipment, and a supportive staff community; mentoring for new teachers is available. Salaries follow the municipal education personnel collective agreement (OVTES).
