About the role

Would you like to help develop impactful digital services and lead large-scale change initiatives? We are seeking a project manager responsible for planning, execution, and successful delivery of ICT projects within information management. The role is permanent and starts on 1 October 2026 or as agreed. As a project manager you will lead ICT projects through their full lifecycle, ensuring that they are delivered in line with defined scope, schedule and budget. The projects may range from small to large in scope. Your duties include: planning, leading, coordinating ICT projects; managing objectives, schedules, costs and risks; change management and stakeholder collaboration; reporting and decision-support; ensuring data protection, information security and architecture requirements; procurement-related collaboration and leading procurement projects when needed; coordinating deployments, testing and changes. Work in close cooperation with other project leads, IT service managers, experts and other internal and external stakeholders. We require a relevant university degree, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. You should have experience leading demanding projects and the ability to push development and change initiatives forward. You will succeed when you can harmonise stakeholder expectations and build collaboration across different networks. The role requires simultaneous management of multiple projects and prioritisation. We especially value: experience leading ICT/digitalisation projects; knowledge of social and health care services and emergency response; strong project management skills; excellent collaboration and communication in Finnish and English; ability to lead experts in a matrix organisation without direct reports; understanding of information security, data protection and enterprise architecture; experience with public procurement or procurement projects. You will work in a broad collaboration network with knowledgeable colleagues. Our roadmap includes customer and patient information system development projects and deployment of new technologies such as AI and software robotics. The role supports flexible hybrid work – we are primarily remote, but meet in the office when needed. Recruitment conversations will be held remotely during weeks 38 and 39. The position has a starting salary of 5054.17 €/month with additional pay based on experience (up to 8%). The working hours are flexible core office hours.
