Security Guard

Are you a security professional with the skills for demanding order maintenance tasks? We are looking for security guards (PRJV) appointed to assist the police and border guard for VR's local train traffic in the HSL area. Come do socially significant work with the best in the field! Responsibilities: As a security guard (PRJV), you are responsible for ensuring the safety of passengers and the safe operation of VR's local train traffic in the HSL area at stations and on trains. You are responsible for maintaining order and play a key role in preventing disruptive behavior. You perform visible surveillance and react to various exceptional, disruptive, and alarm situations. Guiding and advising customers is a central part of your work. Order maintenance is carried out at stations, on trains, and in car patrols. We offer permanent, part-time employment, 60-100h/3 weeks. Shifts are 7-12 hours long and are located on all days of the week and at all times of the day. Work is mainly carried out as pair work in station, train, and car patrols and independently in monitoring work. The employee must be prepared to work in the entire HSL area. In the position, you will receive comprehensive orientation in operating in the railway environment and the practices required in the work. Why us? You have the necessary qualifications for PRJV tasks; a valid guard card, a valid security guard card, and valid permits for the use of force (gas and telescopic baton). You have work experience as a security guard for at least half a year. In monitoring tasks, we require work experience from PRJV assignments for at least one year. Those working in car patrol tasks are required to have a B driver's license. A great service attitude, ability to withstand pressure in unexpected situations, a firm work approach, and initiative are essential for the task. In the position, you need excellent Finnish language skills and fluent English language skills.
