Maintenance & Automation Technician

The Maintenance & Automation Technician is a subject-matter expert in process automation with strong hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance capabilities. This role combines deep technical expertise with operational autonomy to manage complex maintenance activities and ensure the reliability and safety of production assets. The position is responsible for defining and improving preventive and corrective maintenance programs to guarantee business continuity. Key responsibilities include providing advanced technical support to the Cadorago Distribution Center, diagnosing complex technical issues, leading automation optimization, managing suppliers, and participating in maintenance strategy. Candidates should have at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in paper, slitter/rewinder, or adhesive tape industries, with the ability to troubleshoot electromechanical systems, understand electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics, and experience with automation networks, especially Rockwell and Siemens. Fluency in Italian is required, English is a plus.
