We are seeking a heavy equipment technician for our client in Helsinki's Juva-Malmia area. If you have prior experience with fixing large machinery and are looking for steady work, this could be the opportunity. The role centers on mechanical maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, including engines, powertrains, brakes and chassis. Electrical fault finding and repair experience is a plus. Equipment to service ranges from trucks and tractors to excavators and full-size combination vehicles, so a broad background increases your chances of being the right fit. Work starts when a suitable candidate is found and will be long-term. The position is initially a temporary-to-permanent arrangement under a rental contract, then transferred to the client company. Requirements include about two years of heavy equipment repair experience, good Finnish language skills, high work ethic, and good interpersonal skills. Responsibilities
- Perform mechanical maintenance and repair of heavy equipment including engines, powertrains, brakes and chassis
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults when applicable
- Work in a multi-brand workshop servicing vehicles from trucks to tractors, excavators and large combination vehicles
- Operate independently and take responsibility for workmanship
- Possibly provide on-site service when required
