About the role

Who we are At Columbia Road we strive NOT to be your typical digital agency. We strive to help our clients sell better in the digital age. To achieve this, we need to work as one in a collaborative and supportive cross-competence environment. Business results rarely come from a fantastic slide deck, so we’d rather build, implement, and run the software or tools that do. We are a tight-knit team in Stockholm with 20 colleagues who create business impact for our clients hands-on, from analyzing the most impactful ways of achieving the objectives to configuring and coding high-converting customer experiences. We are a community of more than 150 consultants across the Nordics who are eager to support whenever there is a challenge you don’t know how to solve (and there will be many). We run our business as a community - with high autonomy, big responsibility, and trust - from day one. The job & what you’d be working on As a Martech Consultant, you help our clients create impact with their digital sales and marketing. You can derive business insights from complex data and strive to improve the customer experience at all stages of the customer journey. You\'re able to bring strategic direction to projects while helping clients hands-on with their technology environment, processes, organisation and governance models. We expect you to be familiar with digital business on several levels: from understanding data and the technology stack to all touchpoints along the customer journey. You have what it takes to be a trusted advisor for our clients, and you\'re able to proactively drive projects forward. By nature, you are a problem-solver. You should be comfortable with tackling non-trivial challenges in the digital sales landscape. You have great interpersonal skills and you know how to make people feel understood. You don\'t shy away from challenging our clients to make the best decisions for their business. Your toolbox includes frameworks and methods that help to detail business processes, gather data, structure analysis, develop impactful insights, and communicate clear and actionable recommendations. Besides presenting the outcomes to clients, you use these insights to continuously test hypotheses and tactics with real customers and optimise their business operations. Sometimes, you might need to dive hands-on into a technological tool you\'ve not used before and learn it on the go. A lot of your work will require quite advanced stakeholder and change management skills. We help organisations of all sizes to update their sales and marketing technology as well as their processes around it. Skills and experience we expect you to have: 4+ years of hands-on experience in Marketing Automation, CRM or in a technical/commercial role within an ecommerce domain (B2B or B2C, e.g. product owner or ecommerce manager) Experience in configuring/implementing a Marketing Automation platform or a CRM system You are a power user who can build complex, event-triggered journeys and sophisticated lead-scoring models. Ability to analyse data, make sense of it, and provide suggestions Some experience with the leading platforms is beneficial (Adobe, Microsoft, Salesforce, HubSpot etc.) You are comfortable engaging in discussions about consent management and GDPR While you don’t need to be an architect, you have a deep understanding of the martech data ecosystems and how various tools “talk” to each other. You excel at translating marketing goals into technical requirements, bridging the gap between Marketing, Sales, and IT. You have the interpersonal skills to guide clients to make the best technological choices in line with their business needs. A proven track record of managing projects with technical complexity Previous consulting experience is highly valued, but not required. Experience with BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, and AI software is valued, but not required. Language: Working proficiency in English and Swedish is a must. Mindset You love high-level strategy but are genuinely excited to jump into the tools yourself. You aren\'t looking for a "purely managerial" role. You have a "can-do" attitude and a constant hunger to learn about emerging marketing and sales technologies. You believe in learning by doing and supporting your fellow Roadies. We believe that you are a team player and want to contribute to the overall growth of the Stockholm community in all aspects (business, consulting, and community) Recruitment process Our recruitment process typically involves 2-3 interviews where we learn about your skills and what motivates you. You\'ll discover more about Columbia Road and meet various Roadies along the way. An assignment for you to prepare and present might be part of the process. After our discussions, we\'ll reach out to your chosen references. Deadline to apply: September 30th, 2026 Please note that we will interview candidates already during the application period and fill the position as soon as we find the right match. We look forward to hearing from you as soon as possible! We look forward to hearing from you soon!
