What you will be doing: Microsoft 365 Platform Engineering. Engineer, implement, and maintain Microsoft 365 services including Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Exchange Online — covering tenant configuration, access controls, and platform policies. Build and manage workspace provisioning, lifecycle management, and governance solutions. Engineer and maintain M365 backup, recovery, archiving, and data lifecycle solutions. Maintain platform monitoring, reporting, and operational health; manage selected enterprise productivity applications such as Adobe and Miro. Security & Compliance: Implement Microsoft 365 security, compliance, and information protection controls. Support Zero Trust, data protection, and regulatory compliance initiatives. Collaborate with Cyber Security and IAM teams to continuously strengthen the platform security posture. Automation & Integration: Develop automation and self-service solutions using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Power Automate, and relevant M365 APIs. Engineer integrations between Microsoft 365 and other enterprise systems. Automate provisioning, lifecycle, and administrative processes to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency. Governance & Standards: Define and maintain platform engineering standards, governance models, and technical documentation. Drive standardization across collaboration and productivity platforms and Business Units. Support application lifecycle, licensing, and cost optimization in collaboration with Software Asset Management. L3 Technical Expertise: Act as the highest level of technical escalation for complex Microsoft 365 and collaboration platform issues. Perform root cause analysis and engineer permanent solutions for recurring problems. Support major incidents, problem management, and change implementation; provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to operational support teams. Projects & Continuous Improvement: Deliver Microsoft 365 modernization and Digital Workplace engineering projects. Evaluate new platform capabilities, technologies, and licensing opportunities. Participate in global technology deployments and business transformation initiatives. You will report to the Collaboration & Productivity Platforms Manager. What you need to succeed: Experience & Technical Expertise: 5+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise Microsoft 365 solutions across Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Exchange Online. Strong knowledge of Entra ID, security, compliance, and Microsoft 365 governance. Hands-on experience with M365 backup, recovery, retention, archiving, and SharePoint lifecycle management. Strong PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API automation skills. Working knowledge of Power Platform and enterprise productivity applications. Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and technical documentation skills. Languages: Fluent English, written and spoken. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical experience. What we consider a plus: Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert; Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300); Microsoft Certified: Information Protection and Compliance Administrator Associate (SC-400); Relevant Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or Power Platform certification; ITIL Foundation certification.
