We are looking for an enthusiastic and development‑minded Early Childhood Education Teacher to join Ylästö Daycare in a permanent position. In the coming term you will work with the pre‑school group; you will be part of a team that includes another Early Childhood Education Teacher, a child care assistant and an assistant. Ylästö Daycare is a six‑group daycare located near Ylästö School with spacious rooms to support high‑quality early childhood education. Surrounding the daycare are nearby playgrounds, forests and riverside nature reserves with excellent outdoor opportunities. We regularly utilize opportunities provided by the local environment in our activities. We focus on developing children’s social skills and emotional intelligence, as well as child participation. We also value unhurried contact with children and parents, sensitivity and the building of good interaction. Our unit operates under a parallel leadership model, with one director responsible for staff and another for pedagogy. We implement inclusive leadership where your professional competence has room to grow. The daycare is situated in a nature‑friendly residential area and offers wonderful opportunities for outdoor activities.
