We create innovative information products for various industries, from printed operating instructions to augmented reality applications for mobile devices. The Etteplan Defense GmbH, part of the Etteplan group, specializes in creating user manuals, inspection and maintenance instructions, functional descriptions, repair guides, and training materials for the German armed forces, military, and defense industry. We are looking for an ILS Manager Defense (m/w/d) at our Koblenz branch with the ability to strategically lead and successfully implement demanding ILS programs for our clients, especially for the Bundeswehr. Your tasks include planning, coordinating, and managing integrated logistics support activities throughout the product lifecycle, ensuring compliance with military standards, managing schedules, costs, and quality, developing logistic support concepts, deriving maintenance strategies, defining requirements for maintainability, reliability, and availability, conducting logistic support analyses, evaluating RAM data, identifying optimization potentials, planning spare parts strategies, establishing material provisioning and logistics concepts, coordinating with clients and international partners, managing external service providers and suppliers, maintaining ILS documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations, supporting audits and reviews, preparing ILS offers and calculations, advising clients on logistics concepts and lifecycle costs, and participating in defense tenders. Candidates should have a degree in engineering sciences or comparable qualification, practical experience in military/defense environment, understanding of ILS processes, experience with lifecycle cost analysis, knowledge of defense procedures and regulations, data analysis skills according to ASD standards, knowledge of S1000D, practical experience with ILS tools (preferably IKOS Suite), project management skills, and fluent German and good English skills.
