Join a top team! The pulmonology and esophageal surgery ward M11 at Meilahti Torni Hospital is looking for a nurse for a permanent position in an exciting specialty. Start date 1 October 2026 or by agreement. Our ward’s everyday life involves caring for patients who have undergone surgery in the chest and upper abdominal regions. You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team in patient care and various procedures. You will manage pleura and wound drains, different nutrition and medication administration routes, as well as diverse pain management methods and medical devices. We work with a big heart for the patient’s best. Our daily work is guided by HUS values: encounter, innovation and equality. We work in three shifts with multidisciplinary collaboration across specialties. Language requirements: Finnish good written and spoken; Swedish satisfactory written and spoken, or Swedish good spoken and Finnish satisfactory.
