About the role

Mission and approach: Integral was founded in late 2024 with the goal of redefining how bookkeeping, taxes and payroll work for SMEs in Europe, starting in Germany. As a SEO working student, you help the company build its organic presence from scratch, working directly with the Growth team on content- and technical strategies to attract German SME founders to Integral before they know they need us. This is a location-based role in our Berlin office. Core responsibilities include keyword research around core topics (accounting, payroll, taxes and financial operations for German SMEs), SEO audits, content optimization, internal linking, performance tracking, staying current with SEO best practices, and supporting technical SEO initiatives with Engineering. Responsibilities

Research and identify high-quality keyword opportunities around core topics (accounting, payroll, taxes, financial operations for German SMEs)
Perform SEO audits of existing websites and content, identify gaps and deliver concrete recommendations
Assist in creating and optimizing SEO-driven content with Growth team and freelance writer
Build and maintain internal linking structures to strengthen authority of central pages
Monitor organic performance using tools, track rankings and traffic
Keep up with algorithm updates and SEO best practices and communicate what is relevant to Integral
Support technical SEO initiatives (page speed, metadata, structured data, crawlability) with Engineering team

Requirements

Currently enrolled in Marketing, Business Administration, Communication, Computer Science or related field
First practical SEO experience (internship, freelance project, personal blog, or university project)
Familiarity with SEO tools (Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush)
Strong analytical thinking and data-driven mindset
Very good written German; good English skills
Proactive initiative to identify what needs to be done
Curiosity about how search engines work and AI in SEO
