Training Consultant

Bonjour, Pennylane is a fast-growing accounting and finance software publisher, already adopted by over 7,000 accounting firms and 1,300,000 SMEs in France. We offer an innovative tool to help the accounting profession digitalize. We are seeking Training Profiles with solid accounting experience to assist partner firms with taking the tool into use. As a freelance training consultant, your main objective will be to propose the best training module to new firms so they can extract the maximum value from our tool in the shortest possible time. The coverage area is Bayonne. You are available at least 3 days per week for this assignment. What will your daily duties be? The first two months: you join your team and spend time with a mentor and the training manager to familiarize yourself with this environment; you shadow experienced trainers to discover the trainings; you train on the product using e-learning modules and workshops to validate onboarding. 3 to 4 months: you gain autonomy and take commands entirely. Your daily work splits into three parts: Pre-training: collect, identify, analyze training needs; work closely with the Pedagogical Coordinator. During training: you lead a group (5 to 25 people) to transfer platform knowledge, understand learners’ requests and reformulate their needs, show adaptability and pedagogy. Post-training: you propose a user questionnaire to collect feedback, evaluate trainees, pass information to the coordinator for long-term client follow-up; after 6 months you train more strategic clients and expand the training catalog. Required: significant experience in a Chartered Accounting firm; availability at least 10 days per month for trainings, with travel up to ~2h from home; strong relational and pedagogical skills; digital tool proficiency (Slack, Notion, Google Workspace); quick learning ability; comfortable with in-person and video presentations; commitment to Pennylane and product monitoring.
