Join our growing team to provide quality education and develop after-school activities for schoolchildren! We are seeking a motivated and child-centered afternoon-activity supervisor for a permanent position in Lappeenranta in the Lappeen afternoon club. The club is located in the Ruoholampi area in a day-care school (Järviniitunkatu 2, 53850 Lappeenranta). The role is part-time 26 hours/week, predominantly 11:00–16:30. Start on 14.9.2026 or as agreed. The supervisor will be responsible for the after-school program within their unit, planning, executing and developing activities in collaboration with the team, and strong cooperation with the school and guardians. The supervisor is the professional lead of the team, organizer, experienced caregiver, relationship-builder and information relay. Successful performance requires suitable professional training and experience working with a children’s group and fluent Finnish. A valid hygiene passport is required. We expect energetic, motivated and responsible work attitude, initiative, teamwork and creativity. In this role you’ll apply your strengths in sports, crafts, nature, creative activities, music and theatre. You’ll begin with an onboarding phase in August with a tutor, our written materials and supervisor support. Lappeen afternoon club offers diverse activities for over fifty children. The club has pleasant facilities and access to other school spaces to split groups. The school yard and surrounding area offer opportunities for varied outdoor activities and excursions. We are now seeking someone with motivation and enthusiasm to develop afternoon activities and a genuine desire to play and explore with children.
