At atNorth, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of sustainable, high-performance data centres across the Nordics. This is a unique opportunity to combine deep technical expertise with strategic influence, working closely with clients, project teams, consultants, and industry-leading specialists to drive innovation in one of Europe's fastest-growing sectors. Key responsibilities Act as the technical authority and signatory for CSA engineering designs, calculations, specifications, and project deliverables. Collaborate closely with Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP), Design Managers, consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure successful multidisciplinary coordination and integration. Develop and maintain CSA engineering standards, design guides, technical specifications, and best-practice frameworks across atNorth's data centre portfolio. Review and approve engineering solutions, technical deviations, material selections, and design changes within delegated authority. Support project delivery teams through design, construction, commissioning, and operational handover. Serve as the primary CSA technical advisor to hyperscale, enterprise, and colocation clients, translating business requirements into robust engineering solutions. Evaluate emerging technologies, construction methods, and industry developments relevant to CSA design and delivery. Your profile Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 10 years of experience in CSA engineering and the delivery of complex infrastructure, mission-critical, or data centre projects, including progression into senior technical leadership roles. Extensive experience delivering data centre engineering projects and a solid understanding of how CSA disciplines interface with Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) systems within critical infrastructure environments. Deep understanding of data centre design, constructability, commissioning processes, and operational resilience principles. Strong knowledge of industry standards and best practices, including TIA-942, EN 50600, and other relevant engineering frameworks. Proven experience acting as a technical authority, reviewing and approving complex engineering designs and technical documentation. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts effectively to both engineering and executive audiences. A collaborative and solutions-oriented mindset, combined with the confidence to challenge, influence, and drive high engineering standards across multiple projects and regions.
