HUS is seeking a Program Manager for its IT department for a fixed-term three-year contract. The role is situated within the Development Steering area of the Project Manager Services unit. The primary objective is to lead the renewal of the administration's operational control project, which covers finance, HR, and material management. The project is scheduled to be implemented in three phases between 2026 and 2031. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for the initiation, planning, preparation, and steering of the implementation. You will act as a link between HUS management, the IT department, and external service providers, participating in change management to ensure the realization of project benefits. The role requires at least five years of experience in leading demanding change projects and expert teams, specifically with large-scale ERP or administrative system renewals. The position is based in Helsinki with a hybrid work model allowing 2-3 days of remote work per week.

Responsibilities
- Lead the initiation, planning, preparation, and implementation steering of the administrative operational control renewal project
- Act as a liaison between HUS management, the IT department, and external service providers
- Participate in change management to ensure project benefits are realized in practice
- Steer development and project activities related to the unification of HUS's operational ICT development
- Ensure the scalability and versatility of solutions and consider overall architecture
Requirements
- At least five years of experience as a program manager or in a similar demanding change project leadership role
- Experience leading large-scale operational control, ERP, or administrative system renewals (preferably finance, HR, or material management)
- Experience in planning, steering, and monitoring multi-year ICT projects and implementation entities across multiple organizational functions
- Strong expertise in managing and reporting on project goals, schedules, budgets, risks, dependencies, and benefit realization
- Ability to build effective cooperation between management, operational representatives, IT, procurement, and external providers
- Independent, goal-oriented, and solution-focused working style with good stress tolerance
- Higher university degree (Masters)
- Experience in leadership positions
