Kaiku HR is recruiting for Rauma Marine Constructions in Rauma to work on major shipbuilding projects at the Rauma shipyard. We are looking for several skilled workers to join the team building modern icebreakers, navy vessels and world‑class special ships. The open position is LEVYJEN JA PROFIILIEN TAIVUTTAJALLE. In this job you bend metal sheets with a press according to wooden templates. Each piece is unique. This is a craftsperson’s job. Your duties include: bending with a press according to wooden templates; bent pieces are 2–12 meters in size and each piece is different; the work is done by feel and visually, processes are repeated until the piece matches the model. We require: interest in dockyard and machine shop work; previous experience in a similar task or particular interest and suitability to learn it; careful and proactive work attitude; teamwork; valid safety and hot-work certificates; willingness for shift work.
