Google Cloud Consultant – Build scalable and secure cloud environments that actually work

Gapps is building connections with Google Cloud professionals for current and future hiring needs. As a Google Cloud Consultant, you help organisations design, build and develop secure, scalable environments that work in real business contexts. The work covers architecture, migrations, infrastructure development, security, governance and continuous improvement. You design and develop cloud environments, support migrations and new setups, and improve existing environments for security, cost, performance and governance. You work with customers to understand their needs, translate them into solutions, collaborate with experts to deliver working outcomes, and help customers make informed decisions. Projects vary, and the role calls for ownership and clear communication when plans change. A typical week combines customer meetings and workshops, sometimes on site, with architecture, implementation and development work. You also collaborate with project managers, solution engineers and consultants, and may prepare documentation, onboarding materials or training content and review environments. Customers and stakeholders may include IT and project managers, information security and legal teams, HR, internal communications, business stakeholders and steering groups. You should have solid hands-on Google Cloud experience in real organisational environments, be able to connect technology with how organisations work, communicate effectively with stakeholders and exercise sound judgement in changing situations. The role suits a mid-career professional interested in learning and meaningful outcomes. You can deepen your cloud expertise, move towards project and change leadership, or help develop Gapps’ services and ways of working. The role is hybrid: work from Gapps’ Helsinki office in Kalasatama or remotely from anywhere in Finland. It is full-time and permanent. The annual salary range is €48,000–€72,000 depending on experience and seniority; senior profiles are discussed individually.
