Food Service Worker

Food service professional, join Kaarea Oy as a food service worker! We are seeking a kitchen staff member for our Turku Kraatarinkatu daycare center’s kitchen in a permanent full-time position. The daycare’s service kitchen operates solo and lunch is delivered from the main school’s production kitchen. About 80 clients dine at the daycare. The daycare is newly opened; work starts on 1 September 2026. We operate according to the hours of the schools and daycares, so weekends are generally off. The job requires a hygiene pass, and the chosen person must present a police clearance certificate regarding the law on the background check for those working with children within three weeks of starting. In your role you will prepare breakfast and snacks and perform other kitchen duties such as dishwashing, cleaning, and cheerful customer service. A proactive attitude and creating a positive experience for customers are close to your heart. What we expect from you: Customer service skills; a basic vocational qualification or previous experience as a food service worker; ability to work independently and organise tasks; you won’t be deterred by physically demanding work or rapidly changing situations; good Finnish language skills.
