Specialist Endocrinologist

We are now seeking an endocrinology specialist physician for a permanent post at Sairaala Nova in Jyväskylä. Your duties include specialist physician work at the internal medicine outpatient clinic (specialised healthcare) and the diabetes centre (primary healthcare). The specialist physician role offers varied work in the field of endocrinology. We also encourage further training. We offer you supportive pay and a skilled, development-oriented work community where it is easy to contribute. The work is mainly outpatient care, including both in-person and remote appointments, which can be arranged flexibly through discussion. The proportions of endocrinology and diabetes work can also be negotiated. Fully remote work is not available. The role uses a combined salary model based on the pay levels of specialised and primary healthcare and the career-step salary model. Your final salary will depend on your previous work experience—we will be happy to tell you more. The eligibility requirement for the post is specialist qualification in endocrinology. In addition to clinical expertise, an interest in training is considered an advantage. The terms of employment are determined by the physicians’ collective agreement. A probationary period applies. The person appointed must provide a report on their health. The role requires suitability under section 48 of the Communicable Diseases Act with regard to varicella and measles.
